Stephanie H. Katz is an Associate with Platzer, Swergold, Goldberg, Katz & Jaslow, LLP. Stephanie handles a variety of commercial finance and real estate transactions including secured and unsecured term loans and revolving credit facilities, commercial mortgages and building loans. She represents lenders and borrowers in commercial financing and refinancing transactions, portfolio owners and investors in purchase and sale agreements, and landlords and tenants in office and retail leases. Her experience also includes advising clients in residential mortgage banking, lender liability and general corporate matters.

Before returning to private practice, Stephanie served as a consultant to a Houston-based global commercial real estate advisory firm in purchase, sale and servicing engagements, and as General Counsel/Senior Compliance Officer for a leading mortgage banking and brokerage firm headquartered in New York City. Stephanie graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University in 1988 and University of San Francisco School of Law in 1991. She is admitted to practice in New York, California and the District of Columbia, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Stephanie is also a member of the Board of Directors of VocalEase, a nonprofit 501(c)3 volunteer organization that provides live musical entertainment for New York City's senior citizens at hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers and residences.
